A “big little business” is defined as a business with big ole revenue and teeny-tiny overhead. (That’s actually the scientific definition).
What it means in practice are high MARGINS which equals high PROFIT.
(A traditional agency has lots of revenue but also lots of overhead — whereas an Alternative Agency has little overhead. The extra profit means more security and more freedom). And if you want to grow — or even eventually sell— your agency or firm then profit is going to be the name of the game.
